KAL-007 has never been found. A search involving over 80 ships and numerous aircraft failed to locate any sign of the plane despite numerous radars showing exactly where the plane came down. The search was called off after just 6 weeks. Contrast this with MH370 search which is still ongoing after 11 years. The supposed crash site was in shallow water only 160m deep and no debris, or baggage from the plane appeared till 8 days after the incident. No bodies were ever found. It is quite obvious to many that the plane did not come down anywhere in the area.
The goal of this website is to determine the most probable impact site of KAL 007. Then to inspire or fund a professional search using a company such as Ocean Infinity (OI) to locate the wreck.
Only by finding the final resting place of the plane can the many theories and disinformation surrounding the flight be resolved.
The secondary goal would be to attempt to recover the actual black box recorders. The data from the recorders should still be intact. Another possibility is that the recorders have been removed which means the truth about the flight has been intentionally covered up.

A memorial was built at Cape Soya, Japan’s most northern tip and the closest place to the ‘official’ crash site. It is called the Tower of prayer.
The Swan is 19.83meters tall (representing the year), is made from 269 pieces of granite (representing the 269 people that perished), it has 16 feathers (representing the nationalities of the victims countries of origin). The swan looks directly at the ‘official’ crash location. If this mission is successful it will need to be relocated, or at least realigned.
