I’ve spent a long time thinking about KAL007 and what it was up to.
Here is my take:-
KAL007 on take off immediately slowed down, KAL015 its sister flight took off 15 minutes later and immediately speed up and requested a cruise altitude 2000 ft greater than 007.
There can be only one reason to do this…to merge the radar blips of each plane together.
Meanwhile another plane emulating KAL007 took off within 2 minutes. This plane was possibly/probably a Boeing 767. (Thi sis based on the DFDR data, engine logo and 1991 dive vid)
KAL007/015 flew tandem all the way to near Sakhalin. Prior to that the emulator flight rendezvoused with a tanker as well as 2 x EF111. Two EF111’s overflew Kamchatka and emulator rejoined KAL007/15 so three aircraft appear as one blip.
Near Sakhalin, KAL007 turns sharply right as does the emulator 767 just behind it. A RC135 joins the party to monitor the tickling (there were at least 5 in the air in the region according to the ICAO report). KAL007 then turns slowly left and safety overflies Sakhalin. The emulator 767 gets shot down at the official location. At least one EF111 gets shot down as does the RC135 at Pereputye. World War III is beginning.
Meanwhile, at the same time these events are occurring FB650 takes off from near Tokyo bound for waypoint KADBO. Precisely 50 minutes later at exactly the same time the last radio transition was received from KAL007 FB650 departs civilian radar/radio comms and descends to a low level search at KADBO
This implies that the demise of KAL007 was premeditated. It is not possible that FB650 could be airborne and enroute to the final impact site for a low level search before (or at least at the exactly same time) of events over Sakhalin. i.e it takes 50 minutes flying time from Tokyo to way point KADBO. The crew would need 5-10 minutes to become airborne. Assuming the military had near real time monitoring of the situation (which they did) the crew of FB650 took off before events over Sakhalin. This directly implies they knew where to go BEFORE anything had happened in Sakhalin.
In turn this implies that KAL007 met its mate by one of two ways. A preplaced bomb or a SAM. The location of the takedown is ‘nearly’ perfect in that the majority of debris will be swept quickly out the Tsugaru strait into the pacific. USS Badger was the only vessel in the region at the time. It will be very interesting to interview these crew members.
